OUR VISION
Terry Somerville, Kristine Morrow, and Cord & Gillian Jarvie met over a decade ago in Vancouver at a little West End restaurant called La Brasserie. Cord was involved with several institutions, including Meat & Bread and Juke Fried Chicken, while Terry and Kristine came from Hawksworth and Tofino Marina & Resort.
After moving to the Sunshine Coast we knew we wanted to make pizza and we knew we wanted to open a place that felt like it was a part of the community. Our goal is to have a space that feels nostalgic, uses high quality local produce, and serves really, really good food. We want it to be a spot that you can roll into after a bike ride, grab take away on the way home from soccer practice, or sneak away to for date night. We aspire to be loved for our salads and wings, just as much as our pizza. We want the food and the environment to be just as fun as the place we call home.
LOCAL INGREDIENTS
From day one we have worked with several local farms. We get pretty jazzed to use produce that is grown locally here in qathet. It is important to us to have relationships with farmers, and we are lucky enough to have partnered with the likes of Gathered Farms, Paradise Valley, and Terra Nostra Farms.

Our Dough
We put a lot of love into our dough. There were months of trials and testing prior to opening, and we are super proud of the final result. As the seasons and temperatures change, we make adjustments to keep the quality and consistency high. The dough is a 48-hour fermented sourdough that we make in house. We make it from scratch and hand roll it every single day. Our goal was to have a bubbly, leoparding crust, that holds its shape when you pick up a slice.
GIVING BACK : )
We are honoured to support several community groups. We do a fundraiser for qathet Pride every June called Fried For Pride, where we sell fried chicken. We sponsor a youth U10 soccer team, that our very own Terry Somerville coaches! We also do a fundraiser once a year for the West Coast Wind Swim Club called Swimming for Slices.
